[TADA] An updated Guide to QR payment

  Notice
2019. 11. 20
Hello MVLERs,
Here’s a quick update for QR Pay and a quick refresher in case you are still unsure of how you can accept the new QR payment method.
[Important to note]
 • Please update your app to the latest version.
 • We have removed the automatic payment process for OCBC Pay Anyone.
 • For ALL QR Pay trips, Riders MUST scan your QR Code before leaving your vehicle at the end of the trip in order for the fare to be added in your balance.
 • Please remember to complete the trip by selecting “Drop Off” in order to generate the QR Code for Riders to scan
 • Riders now have more options to scan your NETS QR Code (DBS PayLah, OCBC Pay Anyone, UOB Mighty)
 • In the unlikely event that QR payment could not be completed, please collect the full cash amount from the rider and select “HELP” at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
[Rider Promotion – expect more QR bookings to come!]
To familiarise riders with the new “NETS QR” payment method on TADA, we have just launched a limited-time promotion – riders who select NETS QR as their payment method can apply code [TADAQRPAY] to enjoy a $3 discount voucher which can only be used on their NETS QR booking. With this promotion, we hope that you will receive more bookings!

Not sure what’s the payment process for “QR Pay” bookings?  Fret not, here’s a step-by-step Guide!
Similar to other payment methods, you will see that rider has chosen to pay via QR payments.
The job card will show “QR Pay”

Once the trip has ended remember to select “Drop Off”, you will see a reminder screen as shown below. Press “Confirm” to proceed.

Add additional fees (if any) and press the “Proceed” button. You will then be directed to the next page where you can review the fares. If everything is correct, tap on “Send” to generate the NETS QR Code for your rider to scan.

Please inform rider to fire up their preferred payment app (OCBC Pay Anyone, DBS PayLah or UOB Mighty) and request for them to scan the NETS QR code shown in your driver app.
Once the payment is successful, you will see the Payment Success screen and the fare has been added to your balance.
[IMPORTANT NOTE] Rider MUST SCAN the QR to complete payment

In the unlikely event that payment could not be completed, you can click on “HELP” icon at the top right-hand corner to end the trip.

If payment could not be made successfully via QR, please request rider to make the FULL payment in Cash and select the option “Change to Cash Payment”. Alternatively, you can get the rider to transfer you the fare via Pay Now.
If the rider does not have any available cash, please select the option “Report this trip” and inform TADA. Meanwhile, you may drop off the rider and we will do our best to contact the rider for payment.

Should you have any further enquiries, please feel free to contact TADA Support.
Thank you for supporting TADA and we hope you will enjoy the ride with us!
Best,
The TADA Team

another issue is tat during payment on qr, when a job came in n if I took it, the qr code will be gone n the new booking over lapped the qr code n the rider can't scan

What I usually do if I got an Qr pay job. After starting the trip, I will go offline first. 1 or 2 time no btb i think is better than having the issue u mention. If Rider drop off r basement or multistory building will ask rider to scan n settle the payment b4 entering the building.
