短短两分钟的影片，风趣又智慧地说出了他对生命态度，让人印象十分深刻。
《金刚经》有个著名的偈子：“一切有为法，如梦幻泡影，如露亦如电，应作如是观。
*”他说，在修行的人生过程中，如果能够“看到一切都是缘起性空，清楚这是一场戏，那么演皇帝和演乞丐，通通一样”，做皇帝没有比较伟大，做乞丐也没有比较辛苦，演戏的时候，还是一样行住坐卧、食衣住行，
*重要的是，有没有把戏演得好一点。
我们每个人的一生中，为人子女、父母、夫妻、部属、主管……总是有很多种身分，一般人将这些当成责任，扛在肩上，难免沉重了些；
**那位义工菩萨说是演戏，把身分当成角色来扮演，听起来可轻松多了。
既然知道在演戏，还可以提醒自己：不必沈溺其中、不用执着什么，演完了，就放下。
记得有次问他：“为何这么严肃？”他说，自己以前扮演警官，要训练新生射击，深怕一有轻忽而擦枪走火，所以必须演得严肃；来到福田班、读书会，他扮演的是快乐学佛人。
*这两年多来，他扮演着病人的角色，效法圣严师父
“不怕死、不等死、不找死”，自在面对，接受病痛。
现在的他，卸下了这一场的戏服，
**换成别的角色，继续去演下出戏了。
师父曾写了一幅书法：“戏外看戏忘了戏，梦中做梦不知梦。
*”人生是一场戏，也是一场梦，既要好好入戏，也得明白自己在演戏，就像那位义工菩萨所说：
*“当你面对那一关，你知道是什么的时候，就会离苦得乐。”
所以，知道是戏，清楚是梦，我们就恰如其分地好好演，好好地在梦中，做一场美好的梦。
Retrenchment
Told me that his company will be able to survive this pandemic as they are financially strong. I asked him, while the company may be able to do so but can you? Or does the company needs to kill you off to survive?
Now his head is gone and he missed out that past few months to do something..anything still better than waiting for the death penalty.
Don't assume that the survivability of the company has anything to do with your own, esp for such big Corp where you may just be a number to them.
If a robot can replace you, someone younger cheaper can, all that experience that you had, may not be that applicable when businesses slow down cos many things are set back to almost zero now.
End of the day, you probably don't care cos now you are going to be jobless and thousands are going to look for jobs and perhaps hundreds fighting for the same one based on similar skillsets and experience.
In another words, you blatantly wasted that windows of opportunities to prepare for a retrenchment, should have attend some classes, catch up with friends, update your CV, expand your network, take more risks and do that consistently for years.
